Guild Flags

This flag may be seen flying overhead on our fleet of ships. The half rays on the edge of the flag represent the infinite direction that light can go. The blue and white represent the oceans movement with the light. The black field represents with light, comes shadow.

The Tale of Angel Sunscarlet is whispered by the sea winds. Two cutlasses hold up the sun's center. An angelic form at the flag's middle reveal to us her origins. The skull in the upper left reminds travelers to keep a civil tongue when conversing with this pirate. The AoV symbol is observed resting on one ray of the sun in the upper right corner (embossed in pure gold). The left and right edges are gold as well. Some say they were strands spun from the long hairs of an angel washed ashore.

The Legend of Eric Darksilver melds fire with earth. His ability to bring down the masts of ships is represented by ghostly cannon in the lower left corner and a tilting tree in the center. A heated sun on the tree shows us his precision. A voodoo staff held with a strong arm is emblazened to the right. Heated in amber is a skull in the upper left and the AoV symbol in the upper right.

The Adventure of Andy Carmichael involves an eventful past. Embossed in red is a skull with a Spanish Rose to the left, two crossing cutlasses in the middle, and the AoV symbol to the right. Food of choice is French Toast, served up under the blades of two cutlasses. At the center of a blue mariner's globe is the mural of a war frigate. Four lightning bolts flow from all four corners, representing her voyages to all reaches of the High Seas.

The Myth of Dog O'bones enlightens us that the seas may weather nature's wrath, but the power of the human spirit rules all! In Dog's travels, his ability to deal with local peoples in far away lands allows him to bring back unparalleled riches. Melted from Mayan gold is a temple in the center. Electrically cast are three lightning bolts striking the most powerful ship of the enemy, The Juggernaut. A rum jug can be seen in the upper left corner. The AoV symbol is embossed in gold to the right.

The Ballad of Johnny Mcsmythe can be told with two basic symbols: a stack of pancakes and a strong arm. His quad stack of pancakes are legendary, represented in the upper right corner. A strong arm with a cutlass (glazed from liquid, polished steel) is grasped in the hand and placed in the middle. His cutlass skills are so precise, he can slice a pancake in two just to get the most adventure out of the moment. The guild symbol is embossed over the arm. The skull reminds us of his notoriety on the High Seas. A fleur-de-lis glows green. An eerie reminder of his compass pointing true, as if the ghost world guides him to rougher waters.

The Epic of Mary Mcswain starts with tragedy and perseveres onward into the blue. She is the only buccaneer to fly the Naval colors of red and white. This lures the enemy close enough for her cannons to affix a swath of destruction. The lower part of the flag has a painting of Tortuga with waves embossed in blue. A war frigate sits on top of the water to the left. To the center is a complex pattern of melted iron and lavender dye. The origin of this pattern is unknown. The AoV symbol can be observed in the upper right corner.
